Review by hotel critic
Nestled just steps away from Heidi's village, I found myself at the charming Hotel Restaurant Heidihof, and it didn't disappoint. This lovely hotel boasts super clean accommodations and a super balcony with breathtaking views over the valley. One particular lady on the staff was especially friendly and went out of her way to ensure my stay was comfortable. The culinary experience here was a gem. Dining at their restaurant, I enjoyed innovative meals crafted with seasonal ingredients, all while soaking in the stunning scenery that surrounded me. I savored every bite of a locally sourced dish, perfectly paired with a regional wine. The ambiance of the restaurant-warm and inviting-made for a relaxing dining experience. Breakfast was included, and the spread was delightful. For anyone, especially fellow food enthusiasts, this spot is a must-visit. I left inspired and eager to return to this beautiful corner of Switzerland, which honestly outshone the French side for an authentic Alpine allure.
